Teaching

I currently teach the ECN101 Business Economics module for University of Sheffield Management School. The module aims to introduce level-one students to the basics of economic analysis at both the micro- and macroeconomic levels.

In 2016-17 I will begin teaching ECN607 Public Policy Evaluation as part of our new MSc in Economics and Public Policy. This module will look at how we can evaluate the impact and effectiveness of public policy interventions in health, education, the labour market and other areas. It  will include econometric techniques that enable us to estimate the causal effect of different policies.

From 2005-15 I taught a popular two-week course in Panel Data Analysis of Microdata at the Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis.
